High School Graduation Week

The public exam is just a few days away. Last week was intense, it was our Graduation Week.

Wearing the graduation robe officially for the very first time, looking very elegant for the very first time, were called a model for the very first time, had lunch in a Japanese restaurant with close friends for the very first time and even had a water balloon fight for the very first time. Yes,I'm a newbie to many situations.

My heart ached to the singing of school anthem and saying of  the school oath.Memories flowed in while I was singing. I couldn't hold my tears anymore. The thought of leaving teachers and friends made me cried harder.

School Oath

I love attention,i love being in the group of people who are loud. However, there were many times when I found myself drown in my own negative thoughts, feeling left out and uninvited. On the Graduation Last Assembly, I finally figured out how to have fun, how to enjoy,not loudly,but quietly in my own space.

Girlfriends

Having my primary and secondary education in chinese schools were definitely one of the best choice my parents have ever made. I believed I assimilated quite well,don't you think so? Eventhough i'm not chinese, never had I felt discriminated. I was treated equally and was acknowledged for the hardwork that I've done.

I'm thankful. Thank you everyone for journeying with me through the valley of teen's life.
